Following the launch of the Academy on April 23rd, 2018. We have layed up and we have launched the Day Camps program (Summer camps).

Our very young Academy has just ended its very first milestone. After two months of physical activity, training and lessons, we are wrapping up our very first Summer camp season. All Academy staff would like to thank the participants and their parents for taking part in this first year of day camps. We thank them, among others, for the trust they have shown to us and for their involvement in the project.

This first edition was intense and filled with beautiful experiences. We have gathered great results with participants and we have even surpassed our numbers expectations for registrations. We developed a close bond with parents who came to seek advice from us. Several parents have pointed out to us that they have noticed positive behavioral changes in their child(ren) despite the short time spent at the Academy (each child spent one or two weeks on average, sometimes up to four weeks).

The Academy is a unique project, offering solutions to real gaps (cyberdependencies, lack of training of stakeholders, lack of sustainable infrastructure …). The Academy is a solid foundation on which the local e-sport market can grow and prosper.

Launch of the Academy: April 23rd, 2018

Games: Fortnite Battle RoyaleOverwatchLeague of Legends.

Number of participants: more than 120 registrations.

Age of participants: 7 to 17 years old. (average age of 14.5)

Dates of the camps: 8 weeks spanned throughout the full month of July and month of August.

The launch of the Academy and our day camps have been the subject of much discussion.
