THIS SUMMER SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO SHERBROOKE !

This type of summer camp combines the practice of video game, physical activity and the teaching of different theoretical notions. Our overnight colony camps, starting from Sunday evening until the following Friday afternoon, offer to participating players from all skills the opportunity to learn while having fun in a stimulating environment. The camp formula allow us to adapt the content and the training at higher levels for beginners players, intermediates players or elite players.

Showers and lockers on site

3 meals per day from Monday to Friday at the cafeteria

We provide the material (full computer desktop with mouse, keyboard and audio headset) as well as the material required for physical activities.

Participants may bring their own equipment if they wish to do so (mouse, controller, keyboard, headset).

PROGRAM DETAILS

Each participant has the right to a private meeting to set their goals for the week. Coaches will adapt their coaching to fully meet the goals of each participant.

Cost :   $650 + applicables taxes per participants per week

(PST/TVQ eligible to Tax Credit — Relevé 24)

Desired Age : 12 to 17

Capacity : A maximum of 12 participants for every week camp

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Content

  • Revising fundamental principles of the game.
  • Fundamental esports principles
  • Sports psychology
  • Training methods, sports planning and time management.
  • Healthy lifestyle habits
  • Cyber Awareness training

Daily Agenda

  • Activities from Monday 9:00 am until Friday 4:00 pm
  • Meals at noon until 1:00 pm and dinner from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • 2 period breaks of 30 minutes each day between activities
  • Activities will be proposed to fill free time

Summary of training program every day

  • Per day :
    • 2 hours of esports gaming
    • 2 hours of theory lessons
    • 4 hours of physical activity

SUPERVISION BY QUALIFIED AND CERTIFIED COACHES

Each coach is a person with the following obligations:

  • be a member of la Fédération Québécoise de sports électroniques
  • had a complete training at Esports Academy of Canada
  • had his/her Verification of criminal record checked
  • detains a valid first responder and CPR certification

School cafeteria, fridge and microwave

Dormitories, showers & common locker rooms

Transportation not included.
